we left Winnipeg on a Thursday evening. drove through the night, took turns sleeping in the back seat while the state lines slipped by. Tennessee kissed our cheeks when we arrived, took us in with that southern hospitality, felt like home in a matter of minutes. it cut something loose in me, God knew I needed this.
