shooting in black and white was incredibly unnerving for me.
I tried to see everything as colourless but I just couldn't do it.
but I think I'd like to try again.
part of me liked that feeling.

before school ended we had a book launch at the art gallery for "Ellipses", a lit mag in which some of my photos/writing are published. it was all sunshine and singing and like-minded people and after it was all over we made our way to a building that had recently burned down and explored what was left of it.

that day was memorable. I'm thankful to have the photos I took, I wouldn't ever want to forget.

I wake up covered in butterflies

an accurate collection of moments from my life lately. thrift stores and bible study, cats and abandoned things and friends making memories. I'm starting to hold on a little tighter, I only have a little while longer .
